In Chinese philosophy, the concept of yin yang is normally referred to in the West as "yin and yang". It is used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world and how they give rise to each other in turn.Yin yang are complementary opposites that interact within a greater whole, as part of a dynamic system. All things have both yin and yang qualities yet either aspect may manifest more strongly and ebb or flow over time. The concept of yin and yang is often symbolized by various forms of the Taijitu symbol. Yin and yang are always opposite and equal qualities.

Our Yin and Yang charm and earring jewelry collection holds a special meaning to the Dazzling Paws Jewelry family.This symbol is dedicated to animal rescue.The design concept was inspired after fostering a very sweet little Border Collie named Sky that came from a hoarder in TX. In the fall of 2010 Texas Border Collie Rescue came to the aid of about 50 dogs from horrible conditions. In the spring of 2011 they were asked once again to help 183 Border Collies from a puppy mill. The Yin and Yang pet jewelry collection is dedicated to the men and woman who help save one life at a time.

The Sterling Silver Yin and Yang ring is an exquisite piece of inspirational paw print jewelry that creatively captures the essence of the bond shared between a pet owner and dog. The cycle of giving and receiving to create growth and set upon a new journey for all involved is represented on the circular face of the Yin and Yang Paw Print ring. The paw print jewelry design transformed the dots into two petite paw prints; one in gleaming silver on an oxidized background, and one oxidized to a deep rich contrast to the glimmering silver background. These opposing sides of the ring face are divided in equal parts by an S shaped curvature. The slender band even takes on the ebb and flow nature of the Yin and Yang symbol caressing the Sterling Silver Taijitu Paw Print ring face from opposite angles.

Finding Your Ring Size and How to Measure Your Finger:

1. Find a piece of string or strip of paper no wider than 1/2".
2. Wrap it around the base of the finger you wish to wear the ring on. Once the string/paper is snug, slip the paper back off the finger. If the string/paper expands slightly when sliding over your knuckle mark that point on the paper or string. You want your ring to be large enough to get over your knuckle.
3. Use a pen to mark the point on the string/paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.
4. With a ruler, measure the length from the starting end of the string/paper to the pen mark.
5. Use this measurement and the chart to determine your ring size.

*For a more accurate method of measuring ring size stop by your local jewelry store and have your finger sized with a ring sizer.
*When sizing your finger with a ring sizer, make sure it slides off fairly easily over the knuckle.
