The Schipperke w/Barge in body earrings pay homage to the breeds original purpose as watchdogs and ratters on the barges of Belguim. The little captain dog stands at full attention alert and ready for duty. Small triangular ears sit erect high atop the Schips head. The fox-like face gives way to a slightly arched neck and a broad deep chest that reaches the elbows. The front legs extend straight down under the body from the side profile study. Small round feet hint at the speed and stealth of the petite hunter represented in this beautiful Sterling Silver Schipperke charm. The Sterling Silver Schipperke earrings artfully depict a low country barge sailing on the wavy waters of Belgium in the center of the open body of the dog.

Earrings a perfect match for the pendant.  Again, as life-like as can be in silver.  Loved the barge-in-body as a reminder of where the breed came from.  Really lovely workmanship.
