The Siberian Husky is not a barky dog breed but they can howl when bored, lonely, or excited and their howl can be heard up to 10 miles- now that is a call of the wild! Huskies are smart, affectionate, and social pack oriented dogs that need companionship and attention. Almost every Husky owner can tell amusing stories about a time they left their Husky alone for “just a moment” and returned to find destruction and chaos from a lonely, bored Husky. Sibes are an assertive, energetic working breed prized for their primitive beauty as well as their sweet and clown-like nature as a family pet.

The Siberian Husky has a thick, dense double fur coat with an undercoat that offers added insulation in temperatures reaching to fifty below, which makes Huskies suited to colder climates. Siberian Huskies are energetic, plus quick and light on their feet with graceful, almost effortless movement. Siberian Huskys love to run; they were bred to run built for amazing physical endurance with a balance of power and speed. Sibes are intelligent, strong willed and independent thinkers that love to dig so Huskies have a special talent for being cunning escape artists.
