Reflection Paws Story Reflection Paws was inspired by a mirror I saw in a hotel lobby in TX in 2012. I was so fascinated by the design that I took a picture of it with my cell phone and immediately called it Reflection Paws and that is how this design was born! Like many of our designs the things we see and life experience cross over into our wonderful jewelry pieces.

In Chinese philosophy, the concept of yin yang is normally referred to in the West as "yin and yang". It is used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world and how they give rise to each other in turn. Yin yang are complementary opposites that interact within a greater whole, as part of a dynamic system. All things have both yin and yang qualities yet either aspect may manifest more strongly and ebb or flow over time. The concept of yin and yang is often symbolized by various forms of the Taijitu symbol. 

Our Yin and Yang necklace and earring jewelry collection holds a special meaning to the Dazzling Paws Jewelry family. The design concept was inspired after fostering a very sweet little Border Collie named Sky that came from a hoarder in TX. In the fall of 2010 Texas Border Collie Rescue came to the aid of about 50 dogs from horrible conditions. In the spring of 2011 they were asked once again to help 183 Border Collies from a puppy mill. The Yin and Yang pet jewelry collection is dedicated to the men and woman who help save one life at a time.

Our Forever In My Heart pendant was inspired by a business associate whose dog Duke was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer. Duke was our driving force: As he battled his canine cancer symptoms, we worked on a design that would be a proper tribute. Sadly, Duke lost his battle with cancer and crossed the Rainbow Bridge in June 2011.
