Split jump rings are for pendants/charms to be put onto a charm bracelet.  Easy to use like a key chain slip ring.  They are easy to get a charm on and off due to the soft metal, if you don't have pliers at home to use other jump rings the slip ring is an alternative. 

We strongly suggest using our Jump Rings instead due to the strength and thickness of the metal on a jump ring. Our split rings are thinner and good for light weight stuff however if a charm gets caught on something it might not be able to take the pressue of the pull.
